Angaria is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Angariidae. [1]

Angaria is the only genus in the family Angariidae.

Taxonomy

2005 taxonomy

According to the taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005), Angaria belongs in the subfamily Angariinae, within the family Turbinidae.

2008 taxonomy

Angaria was moved to the family Angariidae within the newly created superfamily Angarioidea according to Williams et al. (2008).[2]
