Angaria is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Angariidae. ^[1]

Angaria is the only genus in the family Angariidae.

Taxonomy

According to the taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005), Angaria belongs in the subfamily Angariinae, within the family Turbinidae.

Angaria was moved to the family Angariidae within the newly created superfamily Angarioidea according to Williams et al. (2008).^[2]
